LoFi Wealth is intentionally designed to be simple, and that simplicity is what makes it secure.

 

We are a habit-tracking app, not an investment platform. We do not connect to your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, or financial providers. We do not hold, move, or manage your money.

 

Because of this, we do not store sensitive financial data such as:

  • account balances

  • portfolio holdings

  • transaction histories

  • login credentials to financial services

 

The app only reflects the habits you choose to track, for example, “$100 per week” or a one-off contribution. These are self-declared inputs, not verified financial activity.

 

This means:

  • we don’t know what you actually own

  • we don’t know where you invest

  • we don’t have visibility into your real financial position

 

And importantly — we don’t need to. 

 

LoFi Wealth is built around behaviour, not control. It exists to support consistency and perspective, without requiring access to your financial life. This reduces both complexity and risk. In a world where many financial apps require deep integration and sensitive data access, LoFi Wealth takes the opposite approach: the most secure data is the data that is never collected.

Privacy First by Design

LoFi Wealth was intentionally designed to avoid collecting sensitive financial information wherever possible.

We believe the most secure financial data is the data that is never collected.

Unlike many finance-related apps, LoFi Wealth does not connect to your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, investment platforms, or financial institutions. We do not track your real portfolio, net worth, balances, or transactions.

LoFi Wealth is a behavioral and educational tool focused on helping people build consistent long-term habits and perspective, not financial surveillance.

 

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information required to operate the app and provide the experience.

This may include:

  • Your email address or login credentials

  • Authentication information from services such as Apple Sign In or Google Sign In

  • Your chosen habit settings (for example: "$100 per week")

  • Optional bonus contribution entries

  • Habit completion check-ins

  • Basic technical or diagnostic information required to maintain app functionality, reliability, and security

The financial habit information you enter is entirely self-declared and is not verified against any financial institution or real-world account activity.

 

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

LoFi Wealth does not collect or store:

  • Bank account information

  • Brokerage account information

  • Investment account credentials

  • Credit card information

  • Portfolio balances

  • Transaction histories

  • Real investment holdings

  • Net worth data

  • Access to financial accounts

We intentionally designed the app so we do not have visibility into your true financial position.

That is a core part of the product philosophy.

 

3. How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used only to:

  • Display your habit progress and illustrations

  • Generate long-term modelling illustrations within the app

  • Sync your data across devices

  • Maintain app security and stability

  • Improve reliability and performance

LoFi Wealth does not use your data for advertising profiling or financial targeting.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your financial habit-tracking data with advertisers, brokers, investment firms, investors, or third parties for marketing purposes.

We may use trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate the app, including providers for:

  • Analytics

  • Error reporting

  • Security

These providers only process information necessary for the app to function.

5. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account and associated habit data directly from the Settings page within the app.

When an account is deleted, associated personal habit-tracking data is removed from our active systems, except where limited retention may be required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

LoFi Wealth reduces privacy risk by intentionally minimizing the amount of sensitive data collected in the first place.

Real markets:

  • do not follow smooth averages

  • may perform significantly better or worse than historical periods

Lo-Fi Wealth uses the S&P 500 as a reference point because it is:

  • easy for users to independently research

  • commonly used as a broad proxy for market performance

  • you should invest in it

It is used purely as a simple, transparent benchmark for modelling.
